You will find several ATMs all over the island so you can easily bring all major credit cards such as Master Card, American Express, Visa etc to Koh Tao. Most major dive schools also accept credit card payment with an extra charge at 3%.

In Sairee you will find an ATM and a bank for money exchange next to Seven Eleven. There are two ATMs located on the beach road on each side of Ban’s Diving Resort one of them with a small money exchange office if you have traveler checks or cash you want to get exchanged.

In Mae Haad you will find an ATM pretty much for every 50-100 m as well as the local bank providing services for money exchange and traveler checks.
In Chalok Baan Kao you will find an ATM next to Seven Eleven.
