Mae Haad is the main village on Koh Tao and all the boats arrive and depart from here.

Mae Haad developed a lot the last few years and now you find banks, post office, government office and health center here. You also have many restaurants, pubs, travel agents, email services, supermarkets (7-Eleven), bike rentals here. Mae Haad is a popular area to stay while on Koh Tao and there is plenty of good resorts in this area.

Overall great place for shopping, eating/drinking and accommodation.
